Everyday when it is not Yoga I wish it was Thursday because I love my Yoga class.
I Like playing fun Yoga games. I like the boat ride exercise because it is very hard to do but I can do it. It makes me strong.
Keira really enjoys the Yoga at school and comes home and practises her breathing and Yoga postures. I am very happy with her progress. Hope you get a bigger room this term, in order for the girls to excel at Yoga! Keep up the good work!
Wanted to let you know Cora greatly enjoyed the class in particular the use of games. She doesn't get animated at much but she was very expressive as she told us about how the games were played and what Yoga poses were involved! Thanks again!
Keira P enjoys her Yoga class. She is always keen to demonstrate what she has learnt and appears to be very flexible! She says the class is 'strict' which implies that the girls know to be focused and aren't messing around. She likes her teachers and is keen to continue this term. Thank you for running this class; its lovely to be able to introduce Keira P to Yoga and all its benefit at such a young age.
Fabulous class - Julia loves it and it has a very positive effect on her well-being.
Anoushka and Oskar first experienced Yoga Paradise at Oak Lee Montessori. From their first lesson they were excited and energised by the experience. As the weeks and lessons passed by I could not believe how enthusiastically they would show me all the poses they had learnt and the breathing skills - all set to great stories, songs or rhymes. They thought of it as nothing more than a game. They really loved their yoga lessons and looked forward to them each week. They built up a special bond with Priya who had an incredibly calming effect on them. She was simply magical with the children and they adored her. We cannot wait to sign up for the school holiday courses for all of us to enjoy yoga together as a family.
The children look forward to their Yoga session and this has had benefits in the three prime areas of learning and development; physical skills, listening and communicating skills and personal, social and emotional. The Yoga Paradise teachers have excellent knowledge of Yoga and are able to adapt this so well to make Yoga session fun for the various age ranges, from 6 month old children all the way through to 4 year olds. They also work well with the nursery to keep the parents informed and will happily adapt their sessions to fit in with children who have special needs as well as incorporating topics and themes.

Priya has been running yoga classes at Northwood College for 3 years. At Northwood College we believe that it is essential to care for the overall wellbeing of the child. Yoga is integrated in our curriculum for the Nursery girls and Priya runs after school clubs for all girls from Reception through Year 6.
Yoga has the benefit of improving flexibility, balance and coordination. Many parents and staff have noticed that the girls have also improved their concentration and boosted their self confidence. Much of this is down to Priya's calm and kind approach to her work with the girls. All the girls are enthusiastic and keen to attend the club, infact the demand is so great, we have put on extra Yoga Paradise sessions.
